SIDEWALL Design
"Mind," "Core," "Trust," "Truth," "Humbleness," "Extension," "Freshness," "Depth," "Innocence," "Divinity,"
"Progress"... "SHIN" is a significant word for us Japanese, especially in crucial life moments. In the "SHIN"
powder board series by OGASAKA SNOWBOARDS, the "SHIN" of that year is engraved on the sidewall. The
theme for the 25-26 season is "Physical Body." The mind and body are closely connected, but in modern
society, lack of exercise has become a serious issue. The idea behind this theme is that by moving the body
before thinking, it can lead to better health and a fulfilling life. (Move your body before thinking.)
“SHIN 160” is an all-around
medium-long board between the
most popular powder board in the
SHIN series: “SHIN 156”, and the
longer “SHIN 167”. More buoyancy
than “SHIN 156”, but less length
and width than “SHIN 167”, making
it easier to maneuver. This longawaited
model is especially
recommended for those who are
large build, feeling like “Shin 156”
doesn't have enough float to give
you a high level of fun in both
carving and powder.
