SIDEWALL Design
"Mind," "Core," "Trust," "Truth," "Humbleness," "Extension," "Freshness," "Depth," "Innocence," "Divinity,"
"Progress"... "SHIN" is a significant word for us Japanese, especially in crucial life moments. In the "SHIN"
powder board series by OGASAKA SNOWBOARDS, the "SHIN" of that year is engraved on the sidewall. The
theme for the 25-26 season is "Physical Body." The mind and body are closely connected, but in modern
society, lack of exercise has become a serious issue. The idea behind this theme is that by moving the body
before thinking, it can lead to better health and a fulfilling life. (Move your body before thinking.)
"SHIN 167" is positioned as the "All-Round
Long Size" within the SHIN powder board
series. Think of it as the longer version of
"SHIN 156" and "SHIN 160." Generally, as a
board gets longer, buoyancy, high-speed
stability, and descent speed increase, but it
can become less maneuverable at low
speeds. However, this board skillfully
adjusts the flex balance, making it designed
for maximum ease of handling despite its
long size. It is a highly recommended for
those seeking a longer size based on their
height and weight, as well as for those
aiming for speed and enhanced buoyancy.
