The FC-S is an expert model of the FC series designed for propulsion at high speeds. The “S” stands for “Stiff”, and not only is it stiffer, but it is also designed with a shallower side curve than FC. Therefore, if the board can be firmly stood, pressured, and flexed in the first half of the turn, you will feel as if the power you step on will be converted into more and more propulsive force, and you will be able to accelerate.
